Riverside Gardens will reopen in July in time for the school holidays.
We appreciate the inconvenience of the park’s closure and are working hard to reopen as soon as possible.
We are carrying out essential health and safety checks with external inspectors to ensure the park meets the highest safety standards before opening to the public.
We also need to allow sufficient time for planting and grassed areas to establish properly to give plants the best chance of survival. The grass and planted areas will remain fenced off over the next few months to enable this to happen.
